A “Film Festival" generally means a collection of films told in one time frame, usually based around a theme. In this case, the OutLive Film Festival is a one-evening showing of short films, 5-20 minutes long, that fit the theme of "Stories of healing and courage, lived outdoors."

The OutLive Film Festival has a casual, fun and friendly vibe, aided by the special space and by drinks like wine from OverBluff Cellars. The artwork by Chet Harum provides another way to experience the theme of the evening. Because the films are powerful, there can be some deep discussion at intermission and afterward.

The 2025 OutLive Film Festival will be fabulous! The first OutLive Film Festival in 2023 met with rave reviews in the post-event survey. Audience members noted the high quality of the films, the polished presentation, the excellent venue, and the additional elements like wine from Overbluff Cellars and a photo exhibit by nature photographer Craig Goodwin.

The 2025 OutLive Film Festival may sell out. The first Outlive Film Festival in 2023 was filled to maximum capacity. We have increased the number of seats for the 2025 event but word of mouth is spreading so we're excited to see many new faces this year!
